What is TENCEL™ eucalyptus bedding?
TENCEL™ eucalyptus bedding is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell, a fibre produced from sustainably sourced eucalyptus wood pulp in a closed-loop process that recycles water and solvent. Olive + Crate's TENCEL™ sheet sets, pillowcases and duvet covers are genuine certified TENCEL™, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, and shrink less than 2% after washing.
Are TENCEL™ sheets good for hot sleepers?
Yes. TENCEL™ Lyocell wicks moisture away from your skin and lets heat escape, so it stops you heating up through the night. The fibre has a naturally smooth surface that feels cool to the touch and reduces friction against skin and hair.
How is TENCEL™ Lyocell made?
Eucalyptus wood pulp is dissolved and spun into fibre in a closed-loop process, where the water and solvent are recovered and reused. The TENCEL™ range carries FSC/PEFC sourcing and EU Ecolabel credentials. Each Olive + Crate product is then certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
