Is it real silk or satin?

It's real silk. Every piece is 22 momme, 6A grade mulberry silk, not polyester satin. Satin is a weave that's usually made from polyester, while mulberry silk is a natural fiber.

What's inside the mask?

The padding is viscose from bamboo instead of polyester, so it feels soft and sits light on your face.

What does silver ion treated mean?

The silk is treated with silver ion to help it resist odor and stay fresh between washes. It's a property of the fabric, not a skin or health treatment.

What does 22 momme mean?

Momme is how silk is weighed, the way GSM is used for cotton. A higher momme means more silk in the fabric. 22 momme is heavier and more substantial than the 16 to 19 momme silk common in lower-priced products.

What does 6A grade mean?

Mulberry silk is graded by fiber length and evenness, and 6A is the top grade, with the longest, most even fibers.

Sizing & Fit

How big is the mask?

It's a large one-piece wrap, 27.2 inches long and up to 4.3 inches tall, with a nose cut-out.

Will it fit my head?

Yes. A 1.2 inch hook-and-loop strip lets you set the fit, so one size fits women and men. There's no elastic band.

Care Instructions

How do I wash it?

Hand wash in cold water with a pH-neutral silk detergent. Don't wring, bleach or tumble dry. Gently press out excess water and lay flat to dry in the shade.

Is the silk certified?

Yes. The silk is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, which means it has been independently tested for harmful substances.
